Tracking mountain gorillas in the wild that is in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest prepares you for the first glimpse at the shy black gorillas amidst the dense foliage. The adrenaline kicks in when you're up close to the imposing figure of a silver back and it's all very imposing nature alongside its curious babies peeking through leaves as they twist, turn and somersault for your entertainment. Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at the Airport.
Upon arrival, meet and greet with your guide of Select Safaris Africa and be transferred to the Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for Meals & Overnight. HB

Day 02: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Have lunchen-route and then go for a boat ride. We will go for a walk to the salt-lick area. A walk to the nearby salt-lick is a highlight platform. A strategically located wooden Platform offers you a chance to see at least four different species of animals at any one time while they lick salty soil. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 03: Lake Mburo National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, quickly take a short game drive around to see the zebras, topes, elands, impalas, buffalos antelopes. Visit igongo cultural centre and museum for lunch before transferring to Queen Elizabeth National for Dinner & Overnight at the Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 04: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a lot of sightseeing en-route, like a clear view of the western arm of the rift valley plus its associated features such as Lake George, and Edward, mountains of the moon and Kyambura escarpment. Visit the Katwe salt lake to see the traditional works on the salt rock then head to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Afternoon at 2pm, take a launch trip on kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George, during this launch trip , will see a school of hippos here and there, herds of elephants, and lots of wildlife, and birds. Dinner & Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 05: Game Drives.
A wake up call for an early morning breakfast, this morning safari of Queen Elizabeth National park starts around 6:30am. We then depart for a sunrise game drive on the northern sector of the park along the Kasenyi track. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around the crater Lakes in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife. Later, return for breakfast and relax by the pool return for lunch and relaxation at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, drive to the crater region where you will take a hike to the craters such as Nyamunuka crater lake, as you enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB.

Day 06: Tree Climbing Lions - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, depart to the Ishasha sector, in the afternoon take an en-route game drive in Ishasha Plains in search of tree climbing Lions lazily lying on the fig trees. You may also see Leopards, herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, antelopes and lots of savanna birds. Later proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National park a home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 07: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, go for briefing at the park headquarters then proceed to the forest to track the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural habitat with packed lunch. You will witness these animals as they interact , play, and care for one another. The tracking takes between 2-9 hours depending on they have camped. Dinner & Overnight at the Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 08: Drive back to Kampala
Have a relaxed breakfast and drive back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch and at the Equator, you will arriving in the Afternoon and proceed to the Airport for check in.
