Safari Overview
Enjoy this memorable eco adventure safari that enables you to view the yet untouched region of East Africa, the trip takes you through Africa's largest savannah grasslands, thick and dense rain forests home to world's endangered species, the mountain Gorilla as well as other primates species. You will visit Uganda's largest game reserve, Murchison falls national park to view the finest game and end it all with a relaxation at lake Bunyonyi also known as the Switzerland of Africa.

Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
On arrival your driver guide will pick you from the airport and transfer you to Kampala for overnight in Kampala. Meal plan: BB

Day 02: Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park
You will be picked by your guide from the hotel then drive to Murchison falls national park with a stopover in Masindi for lunch while en. Murchison falls National Park covers 3,840-sq km and has recorded 76 mammal species and 450 bird species. Arrive in the park then drive to the "Top of the falls" for a breathtaking sight of the raging Nile as it forces its way through a rocky gap barely seven meters wide. Day 03: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
An early morning game drive in search of those animals that are unique to the African savannah like giraffes, antelopes, lions, elephants and the Uganda kob among the many. The bird life is impressive, with the eagle and the rare shoebill being among the prized sightings. During your game drive request your guide to show you the Congo Blue Mountains, on a clear morning. After lunch, you will go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. The cruise takes you to the bottom of the thundering falls where you will see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds, Meal Plan: FB

Day 04: Fort portal on the shadow of the mountains of the moon
After early breakfast, drive south west via the Albertine escarpment of the western rift valley. Drive through Hoima the town of the Bunyoro Kingdom passing through verdant country side, tea plantations and traditional homesteads. You will arrive in Fort portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom in the shadow of the fabled 'mountains of the moon' Rwenzori. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge / Ndali Lodge.

Day 05: Chimpanzee trekking
Go for an early morning chimpanzee trek in Kibale forest National Park. Enjoy a traditional meal prepared by one of the families in the local community. The afternoon will take you through the Bigodi village, visiting the local homesteads and getting to know their way of life. Dinner and overnight stay at Primate Lodge/ Ndali Lodge

Day 06: Hot Springs in Semliki
Visit the Semliki National Park. This park has fantastic scenery, male and Female hot springs, forest walk, amazing birdlife, primates viewing and Semliki River meanders. At "Mungu Ni Mukubwa'' while in the mountains, the road offers scenic views of the meandering river, fuming hot springs and tropical rain forest. Visit the Bambuti (pygmy) community. Have a picnic lunch at the Sempaya hot springs and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National

Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge / Ihamba Lodge.

Day 07: Kyambura Gorge and Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel
Rise before the sun and drive to Kyambura Gorge for a thrilling chimpanzee trek. Your guided walk may last three to five hours and in addition to seeing the chimps, the trip may yield sightings of the colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed and vervet monkeys and other primates. It is important to note that the chimpanzee safari is subject to availability of permits and good weather because occasional flooding can make the trails impassable. Return to the lodge for lunch and take an afternoon Launch cruise on Kazinga Channel one that joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise is a wonderful way to see hippo, buffalo, kob and the occasional Nile crocodile (which up until recently did not inhabit this area) and a spectacular bird watching on the river-bank. Many who experience the launch cruise consider it the highlight of their entire African safari. Return for dinner and overnight stay at the Mweya Safari Lodge / Ihamba Lodge.

Day 08: Game drive and the Ishasha sector
Have a very early breakfast and then go for a morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. You will most likely meet grazing Hippos, Elephants, and Lions, spotted Hyenas, bush bucks, water bucks, striped jackasl, comical warthogs and the elusive leopard. Drive further along the deep and wide dry craters that are occupied by savanna grass and acacia trees. The drive takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment and to the (southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park) Ishasha sector. Lunch break then take on yet another game drive in search of tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight stay at Ishasha Wilderness Camp / Ntungwe River Lodge.

Day 09: Tree Climbing lions and Transfer to Bwindi
Early breakfast then take on another game drive in search of tree climbing lions then proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive in time for a late lunch. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home of the rare mountain gorillas. Apart from gorillas, there are a wide variety of primates to see including the blue and red tailed monkeys. The forest itself is lush and green and there are streams running through it. Dinner and overnight stay at Silverback Lodge / Nkuringo Safari Lodge.

Day 10: Encounter with the mountain Gorillas of Bwindi
Have breakfast, after briefing set off early with guides to track the gorillas. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a magnificent green swathe of dense rainforest, so ancient that survived the last ice age. A recently proclaimed World Heritage site, it's one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of mountain gorillas - believed to number just 600. There's also a substantial chimpanzee population and research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two apes live together. Return for dinner and overnight at Silverback Lodge / Nkuringo Safari Lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. Lunch break then take on an afternoon boat ride to some of the islands on the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Ha Buharo Resort.

Day 12: Transfer to Nshenyi Village
Leave and drive for Nshenyi village via Ntungamo. A fascinating route takes you through hidden beauty of Ankole kingdom. Lunch enroute. Experience a peaceful traditional way of living in the countryside. Overnight at Nshenyi Village. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 13: Nshenyi Village
Early morning go to the field, participate in milking the adorable long horned Ankole cattle. Return for breakfast. Take a walk to bahima village. A chance to explore the local villages, learn the skill of setting out cows to graze (okusetura) or climb the surrounding hills. Evening, enjoy the traditional dancing, bask under the moonlight and let the African rhythms refresh your mind. A natural gift of melody and dance, sweet sounds of guitar will sooth you to sleep. Dinner and overnight at Nshenyi Village. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 14: Return to Kampala and Entebbe Out
Return to Kampala after breakfast and the evening is reserved for your departure depending on your flight schedule. Hopefully you have gone through the best of Uganda attractions and you are now with great knowledge of the people's cultures.
